بحضور ورعاية معالي الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك آل نهيان، وزير التسامح والتعايش بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وعدد من القيادات الدينية، قامت سعادة عفراء الصَّابري مدير عام وزارة التسامح والتعايش وسعادة المستشار محمد عبد السلام، الأمين العام لمجلس حكماء المسلمين، بالتَّوقيع على اتفاقية للتعاون المشترك بين وزارة التسامح والتعايش ومجلس حكماء المسلمين؛ لتفعيل قدراتهما معًا لما يخدم أهدافهما الإستراتيجية، وذلك في مجالات نشر وتعزيز ثقافة الحوار والتسامح والتعايش والأخوة الإنسانية محليًّا ودوليًّا.
وركَّزت اتفاقية التعاون على تعزيز الشراكة والتعاون القائم بين الطرفين، من خلال التركيز على تنظيم عدد من المبادرات المحليَّة والعالميَّة ذات الاهتمام المشترك؛ مثل: تنظيم المشروعات البحثية، والتعاون في تنظيم المؤتمرات والمنتديات، والبرامج التي تسعى لتعزيز قيم التعايش والتسامح، وتعزيز التعاون بينهما بصفةٍ دائمةٍ؛ من خلال تطوير ودعم أُطُر التفاهم عبر تبادل الخبرات للمساهمة في تنمية المجتمع، وتهيئة بيئة من التَّعارف والتَّسامح والتفاهم والتعايش والاحترام بين الجميع.
وقالت سعادة عفراء الصابري، إن العلاقة بين وزارة التسامح والتعايش ومجلس حكماء المسلمين قائمةٌ على تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة التي تتعلَّق برسالة كلا الطرفين في نشر وتعزيز ثقافة التسامح والتعايش والأخوة الإنسانية والتعاطف والحوار بين بني البشر، مؤكدةً قدرة الطرفين معًا على إنجاز مشروعات مشتركة في المستقبل القريب يمكنها تحقيق هذه الأهداف، تحت رعاية ودعم معالي الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك آل نهيان وزير التسامح والتعايش.
وأشادت الصابري بالدَّور الإنساني الكبير الذي يضطلع به مجلس حكماء المسلمين على المستويين الإقليمي والعالمي، في إطار سعيه الدائم لتوفير السبل، وبخاصة في الحوار والتعاطف والتعايش بين كافة الثقافات والأديان لتعزيز قيم التسامح الإنساني بين الجميع، بما يتيح الفرصة أمام بني البشر لإيجاد مشتركات يمكن البناء عليها من أجل مستقبل الإنسان على هذا الكوكب.
من جانبه، أعرب المستشار محمد عبد السلام عن عميق تقديره للجهود الكبيرة التي تقوم بها وزارة التسامح والتعايش لنشر قيم التسامح والتعايش بين مختلف فئات المجتمع وعلى المستوى العالمي، وهي الجهود التي أثمرتْ عن ثقافة حقيقيَّة للتسامح داخل المجتمع الإماراتي، وما يضمه من جنسيَّاتٍ وأعراق وديانات متعددة، حتى أصبحت تجربة الإمارات في التسامح والتعايش والسلام نموذجًا عالميًّا يشهد له الجميع، مشيدًا بالجهود المباركة والدؤوبة لمعالي الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك في هذا المجال.
وأوضح عبد السلام أن توقيعَه على اتفاقية للتعاون المشترك مع وزارة التسامح والتعايش يعد إضافةً حقيقيةً لجهود مجلس حكماء المسلمين؛ سعيًا لتكامل الجهود بين الطرفين من أجل مشاريع ومبادرات وأنشطة على المستويين المحلي والدولي، تحقِّق أهداف المجلس في نشر ثقافة الحوار والتسامح الإنسانية بشكل أكثر تأثيرًا وأوسع انتشارًا، ويُمكِّن الطرفين معًا من الاستفادة من قدراتهما بالشكل الأمثل الذي يصب في صالح تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة، مؤكدًا أن الفترة المقبلة ستشهد تفعيلًا لهذه الاتفاقية في عددٍ من المجالات والمبادرات المهمَّة.

Abu Dhabi:
Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and in the presence of a number of religious leaders, Her Excellency Afra Al-Sabri, Director General of the Ministry, and His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), signed an agreement for joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Muslim Council of Elders. The agreement aims to activate the capabilities of both the Ministry and MCE to serve their strategic goals in the areas of spreading and strengthening the culture of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood locally and internationally.
The cooperation agreement focuses on strengthening the existing partnership and cooperation between the two parties by organizing a number of local and global initiatives of common interest, such as organizing research projects, cooperating in organizing conferences, forums and programs that promote values of coexistence and tolerance, and seeking to enhance cooperation permanently through developing and supporting frameworks of understanding. The two parties should exchange experiences to contribute to the development of society, and to create an environment of acquaintance, tolerance, understanding, coexistence and respect.
Her Excellency Afraa Al-Sabri said that the relationship between the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence and the Muslim Council of Elders is based on achieving common goals related to the message of both parties in spreading and strengthening a culture of tolerance, coexistence, human brotherhood, empathy and dialogue among human beings. She stressed the ability of the two parties to complete joint projects in the near future to achieve these goals under the patronage and support of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
Al-Sabri praised the great humanitarian role played by the Muslim Council of Elders at the regional and global levels, as part of its constant endeavor to provide ways such as dialogue, sympathy and coexistence between all cultures and religions to promote the values of human tolerance among all. This may provide opportunities to find common ground for the future of human beings on this planet.
For his part, *Judge* Mohamed Abdelsalam expressed his deep appreciation for the great efforts made by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence to spread the values of tolerance and coexistence among the various groups of society and at the global level. These efforts resulted in a true culture of tolerance in the UAE society, which includes multiple nationalities, races and religions. Thus, the UAE model of tolerance, coexistence and peace has become a global model, which is praised by everyone. He praised the blessed and tireless efforts of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak in this field.
Abdelsalam explained that signing an agreement for joint cooperation with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence is a real addition to the efforts of the Muslim Council of Elders. The agreement seeks to integrate efforts between the two parties for projects, initiatives and activities at the local and international levels. It helps achieve the goals of the Council such as spreading the human culture of dialogue and tolerance in a more influential and widespread manner. It also enables the two parties to benefit from their capabilities in an optimal way that is in the interest of achieving common goals. He stressed that the coming period will witness the activation of this agreement in a number of important areas and initiatives.
