الأمين العام لحكماء المسلمين: سلب المرأة حقها في التعليم اعتداء على شريعة الإسلام ورِدة للخلف وانهزام أخلاقي وحضاري

أكَّد الأمين العام لمجلس حكماء المسلمين، المستشار محمد عبد السلام، أنَّ سلب المرأة حقوقها وخاصة حقَّها في التعليم اعتداء على شريعة الإسلام، ورِدة للخلف، وانهزام أخلاقي وحضاري.

وأشاد الأمين العام، في تصريح له، ببيان فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ. د. أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، رئيس مجلس حكماء المسلمين، الرافض لقرار طالبان أفغانستان منع الفتيات والنساء من التعليم الجامعي، مؤكِّدًا أن هذا البيان الذي جاء من إمام المسلمين أكَّد بوضوح أن منع الفتيات من حقهنَّ في التعليم يخالف الشريعة الإسلامية، ويصدم دعوتها الصريحة للرجال والنساء أن يطلبوا العلم من المهد إلى اللَّحدِ، ويتناقض مع دعوة القرآن إلى العلم والتعلم للرجال والنساء سواء بسواء، وهو الدين الذي سوَّى في القدر والمنزلة بين مِداد العلماء ودماء الشهداء يوم القيامة.

وكان مجلس حكماء المسلمين قد أكَّد في بيان له أن منع الفتيات والنساء من التعليم الجامعي بأفغانستان انتهاك للكرامة الإنسانية ومخالفة للشريعة الإسلامية، مؤكِّدًا رفضه القاطع لحرمان الفتيات والنساء من حقوقهنَّ الأساسية التي كفلتْها لهنَّ الشريعة الإسلامية.

The Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam has described the banning of women from university education as a blatant attack on Islamic Shariah and a backward and immoral act.

Judge Abdelsalam praised the statement by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders which criticized Afghan Taliban’s decision to ban women from university education. Such a statement, he described, clearly stipulates the importance of education for both men and women from the cradle to the grave. The statement also emphasized that banning women from education is a flagrant violation of Quranic and Islamic teachings.

The Muslim Council of Elders had also issued a statement condemning the university ban on Afghan women as a breach of Islamic teachings while calling for unified efforts to ensure that young girls and women are afforded a full education and that their dignity is preserved, as per Islamic Shariah.
